Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Setup Guide

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is the standard for securing various types of accounts by adding an extra layer of identity verification. This guide will show you how to set up MFA using your phone.


Step 1: Download the App

Download the Microsoft Authenticator app for Android or iPhone from the respective App store:


Step 2: Access the Portal

Go to Microsoft Online Login or Office Portal.


Step 3: Enter Your Credentials

Enter your Office 365 credentials. You will be greeted by the following screen:


Step 4: Choose Authentication Method

Click "Next" and you will see the following screen. We recommend selecting "Mobile App":


Step 5: Configure Mobile App

If you choose the Mobile App option, you will see the next screen:


Step 6: Setup on Your Phone

On your phone, skip the initial questions, then follow the instructions on the following screenshots:

You can also authenticate via phone call or SMS:
